I finally met Les Edwards, the Bubblegum Man, as the vehicles were staging for their tour. Les has been organizing this event for 37 years. Unfortunately I forgot to ask him how it got its name.

Back in early 70’s there was a Go-Green 1971 Dodge Charger R/T in Calgary, do any of the older boys know of the car, and does it still exist or is the owner still with us? Love your car show, so grateful you guys and girls stay in place and continue doing that… Great to see… If anyone of you knows, please get back to me I have something that belongs to that car..
