What could be better than beautiful classic cars, free ice cream, a live band, and friendly dogs on a pleasant summer day in Calgary? The Scarboro car show organized by realtor Michael McCafferty was a wonderful way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon at Triangle park in the Scarboro community. I had the good fortune to encounter Bart Eagles from Calgary and his 1952 Chev Deluxe. I saw the tag with his last name on the window of the car and it was a name I recognized from back home. Turns out the car was originally owned by his dad, Bill Eagles, who grew up just a few miles from me in Saskatchewan.
