2024 car shows

I'm coming to the realization that some of the best "car show food" is served up at the senior's homes. Today, at Aspen Heights Retirement Residence, we enjoyed bratwurst, burgers, chicken wings, corn on the cob, pasta salad, cake and pop. The first photo in this set is a 66 Chrysler with a somewhat unique feature - it has a "three on the tree" standard transmission. By the time the sixties rolled around, it was rare to see a luxury brand such as Chrysler with a manual gearbox. Morrin is a friendly little town with an annual car show where I can always see something I have never laid eyes on before including Eric's stunning 60 Chev Impala. What a gorgeous day for a car show. The beautiful weather brought out 783 classic vehicles for Cruisin' the Drag in Great Falls, Montana. It is a long drive from Calgary but well worth it. Heritage Park in Calgary is traditionally our first show of the year in southern Alberta and we got off to a great start for the 2024 season.
