I’m already receiving notifications from car clubs for next year’s calendar. It was never my intention to host a car show calendar on NiceOldCars.ca but it just happened when there was no complete calendar at the start of the 2022 season. I considered it to be a one-off and for one year only.
There are at least five other websites which have car show calendars, so I’m wondering if it is needed for next year. The NiceOldCars calendar was one-of-a-kind and had some unique features:
It was for southern Alberta only (we had 145 weekend shows).- It displayed a poster and/or website for every car show. You didn’t have to hunt for further information.
- It was kept up-to-date. Last-minute shows were added immediately.
- It displayed photos from previous shows
- You didn’t have to be a member of Facebook to see it.
- Shows for the upcoming week were displayed at the top. Shows which had already happened were deleted.
Your feedback will help me determine if I will do it again next year.

The calendar you produced for 2022 was excellent. it provided up tp date information and a great list of events. The information provided was accurate and was utilized to determine which events I chose to attend. I would not have known about many of these events if your calendar had not been available.
The site was easy to access and enjoyable to use. I don’t think any other site could be as informative and complete as yours. I sincerely hope you will continue the car show calendar for 2023. Many people I spoke to about your website were also very happy with it once they accessed it. I am not a fan of Facebook and found it extremely difficult to use in regards to finding event listings.
