The Calgary Stampede was serving free food at the “Breakfast in the Afternoon” event at New Horizon mall on the northern outskirts of Calgary. The band was playing country and western tunes, a trick roper was entertaining the kids, Sheila Edgar was displaying her ventriloquism skills with a talking monkey, and the line-ups for free food snaked around the entire parking lot. I was thrilled to see all the classic vehicles including Marcel’s 66 Dodge Coronet which he was showing for the first time ever.
