I was pleased to see a nice turnout of older cars at this show, by which I am referring to pre-1970 vehicles, and those are the ones I concentrated on for my photos. I think the organizers were overwhelmed with the number of cars that showed up. Many vehicles didn’t have a registration card on their window, just a piece of paper on which a number was scribbled. Every nook and cranny was filled with a vehicle.
The show is sponsored by Royal Canadian Legion #285 at 9202 Horton Rd SW, Calgary, AB. It was a fantastic show, but the biggest winner was the Veterans Association Food Bank

Thank you for doing this with the photos. It is much appreciated. All you wonderful people raised just over $10,000 in one day, for branch 285 and another $3000 and ALL that food for the VAFB! Oh my. We had NO idea this could be done! We hope you will all come back to visit our legion when it’s not quite so busy and maybe join the Branch. Things are looking up!

As much as I regreted it, it looks like I missed one of the best shows. As always, your pictures are the best.

Great pics; Beautiful cars / trucks. Great day all around. Just a comment. There’s a lot of the car enthusiasts out there who don’t have access to the older models, so are picking up some nice examples of vehicles from the eighties and nineties that will be collector vehicles some day, I’m sure they’d love to see a pic of their ride in your collection of photos. And lets not forget those beautiful vintage motor cycles that have been showing up lately.
Keep up the good work. An absolute joy to look at.
