Looking at old cars and remembering good times - it was nice to be back in the old home town for the weekend's events which included a car show on main street. It was nice to be back in my home province for this incredible car show. Thomson Lake in southern Saskatchewan would rank right up there as one of the most attractive places to hold a car show. This show was my second stop on Saturday's triple header. After leaving the European show, I was heading to Vulcan but made a quick stop at the Alberta Mustang Auto Club's all-Ford Presidential show. I'm glad I stopped in because I saw Roger's all-original 68 Mustang. The European show displayed some rare and seldom-seen classic vehicles including the 1954 Pegaso which was manufactured in Spain. It was considered the fastest car in the world at the time of production. Congratulations to my friend Peter who was out for the first time ever with his 1986 Fiat X1/9 and won "Best in Class."
