The village of Standard was celebrating its 100th anniversary with many activities, including a car show that I would describe as “quality over quantity.” Yes, it was a small show but many of these amazing vehicles will never be seen at any other shows. As an old farmer myself, I enjoyed seeing the vintage machinery display and the threshing demonstration. It was a hot, sunny day: the thermometer in my car registered 34° celsius.
