Driving into Turner, Montana was a twilight zone experience for me. 50 years ago, when I worked in Swift Current I would often go across the border on my way to Havre and stop at the Turner bar for a beer. Not much has changed in the town but the front of the bar is undergoing some renovations. The people are still as friendly as ever but this time I was drinking soda instead of beer. The weather forecast was sketchy but the day turned out to be very pleasant with no rain. Walter Hofer from the Turner Colony was showing his Farmall tractor and stopped with his truck and trailer to have a chat and was thrilled to know he would be pictured on the internet.
Fantastic! Once again, it was very nice to meet you. Thank you for sharing your photos. I hope the next time you travel through you will stop in again.
