2023 Car shows

Attending this show was like going home for me. For 15 years I lived across the street from the West Hillhurst Community Centre and spent a lot of time in the field which hosted today's car show. Talk about rare! A 1948 REO Speed-Wagon. My internet research indicates only 200 of these trucks were built, and there are only 20 in existence. Hold on, make that 21. The cars were fantastic but the highlight of my day was meeting and talking with the former premier of Saskatchewan, Brad Wall. It was a beautiful day for a car show in Claresholm with a good turnout of vehicles and spectators. I was impressed with the two old Packards, a 1938 and a 1940, which looked like they came right out of the showroom.
