The cars were fantastic but the highlight of my day was meeting and talking with the former premier of Saskatchewan, Brad Wall. Brad, a humble and approachable guy, owns the 73 Cadillac which was once the property of singer Waylon Jennings. I also got to see an enjoyable small-town parade.
The Classic Cruisers held an excellent car show in a lovely park with a museum, a location befitting all the vintage cars.
Maple Creek has more mourning doves per capita than any other place on earth and I enjoy hearing them every time I’m in town.
