Pushing the boundaries of the NiceOldCars empire, I took a wonderful autumn drive on back roads to Kindersley, Saskatchewan to take in the Goose Festival car show.
At this time of year we’re into the season where days start out cool but by parade time at 11 a.m., the sky was blue and the sun was starting to warm things up. The downtown was lined with throngs of people out to enjoy the parade and later to admire the classic cars which took over main street.

I had a great time chatting with Linda, who brought out her family-jewel 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 four door sedan. It was bought by her grandfather 62 years ago and is showing just 53,000 original miles! Hers was one of many amazing vehicles and stories that I was able to see and hear about.

I was thrilled to see Bill from down the road in Eston, SK, arrive in his 1956 Dodge Mayfair. It still has the original 277 V-8 and push-button automatic.
For a real treat, I saw Nick’s rare 1962 Oldsmobile F-85 Deluxe Cutlass Sport. I’ve never seen one before and it was worth the trip to experience this one.
Check out the photos below for a look at the incredible vehicles from Kindersley, and thank you to the Roadmen Car Club for organizing an excellent show.

This is amazing. Thank you for highlighting the Roadmen Show & Shine and the Kindersley Goose Festival. As wonderful as Goose Festival is for our community, you guys made it even better.
