The smaller local shows are always the best for bringing out hidden treasures you won't see anywhere else. Case in point: I spotted at least a dozen vehicles at the Bragg Creek show that I’d never laid eyes on before. The Bearspaw Lions held another good show on the northwest outskirts of Calgary. Sometimes the best travel memories come from a simple detour. While driving home to Saskatchewan, I pulled a few miles off the #1 and into the quaint village of Rosemary just in time for their Canada Day festivities.
