Welcome back, Diablo’s Greaseball Bash!
If you look at my photo archives, you’ll notice the oldest one on the list is the Diablo’s show at the Thorncliffe Community Centre in Calgary back on July 21, 2018. That was right around the time I first got hooked on attending car shows, and I’ve been eagerly anticipating the return of another Diablo’s event ever since. Today was the day that it finally happened and what a great show it was with a number of cars which I had never laid eyes on previously, headlined by the spectacular 1956 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.
Yesterday I awarded the Best Car Show Burger to Ocean Trailer, today I’m awarding the Best Car Show Live Music to Diablo’s and the talented group of musicians they hired known as Bigfoot Rocketship. It was a great combination of classic cars and music that kept me there far longer than I had initially planned.
Hats off to the organizers and everyone involved for putting on a fantastic event!
