I arrived late to this show, but just in time to see Elvis and the pinup ladies. My friend Alessandro Votta has become a very popular Elvis Tribute Artist, and I’m thrilled to say that I met him on the “ground floor.” His first time out with the 63 Cadillac and dressed up as Elvis was back in 2019 at the Alley Katz show in Calgary. Coincidentally, I also met the charming pinup lady Dahlia at the same show. I’ve posted photos of Elvis and Dahlia from 2019 in the gallery below. Rides and Rods was part of the street fair known as Tango 2 Echo Fest.
