Thirty-four years of Devil’s Run and the streak remains unbroken. For the 34th consecutive time, Devil’s Lake managed to dodge the rain. The weather looked a bit sketchy to start the day but it turned out to be a nice warm day, albeit overcast and a bit grey.
The car owners enjoyed a pancake breakfast at the staging area while waiting for the parade to begin. Among the crowd I was happy to meet Stan and Sharon Orness, the chief organizers of the event. I’ve posted a photo in the gallery of Stan and Sharon beside their spectacular 57 Ford convertible.
The parade made its way through town and ended up at beautiful Roosevelt Park for the car show. I arrived early to take pictures of the cars as they were leaving the staging area. When the last vehicle left, I hurried downtown to get a few photos of the action on main street.
The sidewalks downtown were packed shoulder-to-shoulder with spectators waving as the parade rolled through the heart of town, eventually making its way to the lush, green backdrop of the park for the main showcase.
I’ll be posting more photos in the coming days of the cars at the show. PS: I didn’t take photos of all the cars. As the name of my website implies, it’s the older cars that I concentrate on.

Stan, thanks to you and everyone who helped make Devils Run 2026 a successful event! It was a great time!
Great coverage of the Devil’s Run parade! It’s amazing how they managed to avoid the rain for the 34th time, and Stan and Sharon’s ’57 Ford convertible looks absolutely stunning in the gallery. Quick question for anyone familiar with the local event organization or the commercial sponsors this year: I noticed some promotional branding nearby that looked like an international betting platform, and someone mentioned it might be related to the digital brand compliance reviewed on GuiadeVaideBetbrasil.com for their current operations. Does anyone know if they were an official sponsor of the North Dakota regional tour this season, or was it just local promotional cars driving by the Roosevelt Park staging area?
