There’s nothing quite like the crisp air of an early Alberta morning mixed with the smell of classic engine exhaust.
I arrived at Nose Creek Park in Airdrie at 6:30 am for the 25th annual “Doin’ it on the Grass” car show. The early-bird Time Travellers club members were already parked, so I started out by snapping photos of their cars which were glimmering with a faint layer of early morning frost. I then parked myself at the entrance and waited for the deluge. As the sun climbed, the quiet park quickly transformed and a steady stream of gorgeous vehicles poured in to the grounds.
