This was a lot more than a car show. Magrath Days was in full swing including a very enjoyable parade with many classic vehicles, floats, and horses. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of spectators lined the streets on a beautiful summer morning to watch the proceedings. A nice touch for the parade was the Magrath high school floats starting with the class of 1965 and every ten years thereafter. One of the ladies in the 57 Ford from the class of 65 was holding a placard reading “you do the math.”
