Following up on the 200 photos of the arrivals rolling onto Main Street, it’s time to head right into the heart of the action!
This next gallery features 120 photos from the show itself, capturing the amazing atmosphere of the day. As you can see from the pictures, Main Street was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with spectators admiring a sizeable turnout of gorgeous vehicles. The Alberta weather cooperated – it was a perfect spring day and top-down weather for the convertibles.
I was absolutely awestruck by the stunning black 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee. What a beautiful car.
I was happy to encounter Thumper the Cockatoo and hear him speak. His owner estimates his age to be around 50 years old.
The red 68 Firebird brought back memories of my brother as it was almost identical to the one he owned.
